The Tanglewood TWJF S is an elegant Orchestra Sized Exotic Java acoustic guitar in natural gloss finish. The solid Spruce Top provides a bright tone and along with the Amara/Mango back offers a warm sound with rich overtones, giving this instrument a well-rounded tone. The smaller ‘Orchestra’ body shape makes it physically comfortable to hold and play.
A lot of guitars can look very similar from the front. The real test for an instruments cosmetic is when you turn them round and look at the back. Inspired by Italian marquetry techniques, the Java guitars have an Amara Ebony back and sides with a contrasting strip of Spalted Mango timber defining the back of the instrument and making the Java series really stand out from the crowd.
