The Cort Core-OC Blackwood is constructed from carefully selected tonewoods delivering a bright and articulate tone, with a well-balanced overall sound. The Core-OC Blackwood is a Venetian OM Cutaway is an all solid wood Electro Acoustic featuring the Fishman® Sonitone system. A Dovetail Neck Joint, seamlessly links the the body to the Mahogany neck with an Ovangkol fretboard.

Cort’s new Core Series acoustic guitars are designed with simplicity in mind. The characteristic of the blackwood is similar to the mixture of several tonewoods. Rich low-end of mahogany, the brightness of maple and the ideal overtone of rosewood.

Fishman® Sonitone
Installed internally without cutting out any of the woods, the Sonitone EQ system retains all the natural resonance and the pure acoustic sound that other systems can’t. The controls are simple to use as well with only Volume and Tone.
