The Tiare TWT 11 Concert Ukulele features a Solid Cedar top, Spalted Maple sides and an attractive Spalted Maple, arched “fiddleback” contoured back, for increased sound projection. Finishing off this excellent uke is the decorative Zebra Striped [Abalone] body binding and rosette. Each Tiare ukulele is specially selected by Tanglewood to have beautiful figuring in the grain to make each instrument unique.
Tanglewood Tiare ukuleles have been researched and developed with patience and diligence. With influences from Polynesia, the name itself is taken from the national flower of Tahiti, capturing the essence of the South Pacific ensuring the Tiare models exemplify an authentic and traditional representation of the art of the ukulele.
